Wag Our Tails!

 Hello Everyone

I am excited to tell you than my new book is out and available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Xlibris.

Here are a few little tasters from the book:-

We all want our beloved dogs to be super happy — with sparkling eyes, a shiny coat, wet nose and wagging tails.

But have you thought about how a different diet could improve your beloved pooch’s well-being and longevity?

Wag Our Tails! reveals how easy-to-make healthy homemade food can dramatically improve your dog’s health.

Food and health expert Melanie Brown Waxman shares her kitchen secrets and reveals how her simple and healthy recipes, developed over decades with her own dogs, can dramatically improve your pet’s life and mood.

Wag Our Tails! also contains fascinating information on foods that have a warming or cooling affect, amazing superfoods, the use of essential oils, the benefits of acupuncture and much more.

And when we nourish our gorgeous dogs with fresh, local foods we also help to lower the carbon paw print which means a win win for all.

Peanut Paw Prints

 Ingredients

·        1 cup peanut butter – must be sugar/xylitol free

·        ¼ cup coconut oil

·        1 teaspoon cinnamon

·        1 teaspoon turmeric powder

·        You will need rubber freezer molds

 Preparation

Place all the ingredients into a small pan.

Warm on a low flame and stir until well blended.

Pour into a tray of individual paw print freezer molds (or ones you love).

Place in the freezer to firm.

Remove the treats from the molds and place them into a container.

Store in a container in the freezer as they will soften quickly.

*These are Maggie’s favorites. She likes to take one off and enjoy it privately. Felix and Bruno munch them all up in a second!

I hope you get this lovely book for your gorgeous dogs. Their tails will be wagging for sure.

Love Chef Mel xx
